ABV English courses
No, you don’t! Please check your level using the following self-evaluation test.
If you have level B2, then you can sign up for an ‘Upper Intermediate English 1 for Academic Professions’ course. If you have level C1, then you can register for an ‘Advanced English 1a for Academic Professions’ course. Please check in the course catalogue for details.
If you have already taken one of these courses, then you should sign up for either the course ‘Upper intermediate 2 for Academic Professions’ or (if you took the first C1 level course) ‘Advanced English 2 for Academic Professions’.

Unfortunately not! We work with a priority list and are not always able to give a place to all students who apply. You can check on our website under course lists whether you have been given a place on one of the courses on the Friday before the semester begins.
You can reapply next semester. Otherwise, you can contact the coordinators for English to see if a place has become available after the first week.
Please contact the coordinators for English in the second week of term. If a switch is possible, we will let you know.
If you urgently need to take a course, please contact the coordinators for English in the second week of semester. They will let you know if a space is available on one of the courses.
