Registration starts at the same date as applications for undergraduate degree programs and usually ends two days before the respective test date.

Are you applying directly to Freie Universität Berlin?
You can register if you have created an online application for the desired subject, selected "Yes" under "Registration for the language test" and submitted the application. The application must be visible in your Freie Universität Berlin's application account. After submitting the application, it can take 1-2 days for the registration login to work. It is best to register using a computer, not a smartphone or tablet.

Are you applying via uni-assist and your application has not yet been forwarded to Freie Universität Berlin?
You can only activate your Freie Universität Berlin's application account and access your application once uni-assist has forwarded your application to Freie Universität Berlin. You will receive an e-mail from Freie Universität Berlin as soon as you can activate your account in the application portal. There you can enter that you want to take the language test. You can then register for the test via a link in the application portal or the link below.
The following only applies to applications for the winter semester: If you submitted your application to uni-assist relatively late, you will probably not be able to take the test on the early date in July/August. You will then take the test in September.
