Test format: Online self-evaluation (German version only)

Date: from now on until the course registration deadline at April 8, 2025 (9:00 a.m.)

Please proceed as follows to self-evaluate your Italian language skills and to register for a suitable ABV course.

You do not need to forward your test result to anyone. This is an online self-evaluation test, indispensable to apply for the ABV-Italian courses. Please remember to indicate that you have taken the test on the registration form. (At the question "Mit Vorkenntnissen (b): Test vom (Datum)" please write: Selbsteinstufung).

The test is divided into different levels. Start at "A1/A2 Level 1" and work through the partial tests one after the other, as shown in the tables below. Finally, add up your partial results.

 

1st Section

If you have achieved fewer than 68 points out of a possible 102, your course is Einstiegsmodul 1. Teil / Grundmodul 1 (Introductory module Part 1 / Foundation module 1). If you have scored more points, click on the link again

4th Section

B1/B2 Level 2	35

If you have achieved fewer than 23 points out of a possible 35, your course is Grundmodul 4 (Intermediate module 4). If you have scored more points, your course is Aufbaumodul 1 (level B2.1 CEFR).

If you think that you have a higher level than Aufbaumodul 1 (level B2.1 CEFR), please write an email to the coordinators of the Italian section immediately. The coordinators will assign you to the correct level via an online interview.
