Our courses are designed for students and staff affiliated to FU Berlin who are prioritized when allocating places. Members of other universities in Berlin can apply for a place in our program, but may only receive a course offer if places remain vacant.

Please submit your application through the digital form at course registration. Applications usually open one month before the start of the lecture period. Please note the application deadline.

We will be back in touch within 14 days after the registration deadline with further information.

We offer places for active participation only. Even if you don’t need the credits.

All new applicants need to go through our language placement procedure which takes place during the two weeks prior to the start of the lecture period. The placement procedure will determine which level course you may take.

You may only take one course.

You may write to us, indicating which course level you were assigned to and which specific course you would like to join. In case there are still places available, we will get back to you.

You may still apply as long as the registration form is available on our website. In case we still have capacities, we will offer you a place / or if you are new to the program invite you to the placement test.
