Motivating myself

To motivate oneself is an important skill in autonomous learning. This includes motivating oneself at the beginning of the learning process, but also remotivating oneself when the initial motivation wears thin.

I am aware of my motivation for learning and can reflect on this.

     

I can motivate myself to learn (for example, by choosing materials that interest me, by framing my learning within interesting projects, by learning together with others, by rewarding myself when I succeed).

     

I can remotivate myself when I notice that my initial motivation is wearing thin.
